We are proud to be able to say that the Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center is open six days a week, all year long, thanks to the many volunteers we have recruited to help us promote Ridgway. Having someone here during weekends to direct traffic to local businesses is a great asset to the community.

With the help of the volunteers and our director, we promote quarterly local shopping campaigns. Though the impact of these campaigns isn’t necessarily measurable, they are certainly positive for the community in many ways.

We are very active in the community. We make sure that each and every business member is promoted through our office. Your membership fee is the BEST advertising dollar you will ever spend. Your business will be listed on all relevant promotional material in the Welcome Center including this website, brochures in the Welcome Center, Business Directory and Guides, which is distributed through businesses and lodging throughout Elk County.

Our members are very important to us. Membership fees help support us, and we help support our members. Did you know?

We are membership dues and donations dependent. We are a not-for-profit 501(c)6, and receive no state funding, even for our Welcome Center. We are also a PA Wilds and PA Great Outdoors partner.

We work daily to enhance the image of Ridgway and Elk County. We are the first point of contact for many people looking for a business referral and the primary tourism/
​marketing organization for Ridgway and Elk County.

We work hard to promote local businesses and organizations. We also host or sponsor of most of the public activities and festivals that happen in Ridgway each year!
